Location

North Laurels House is set in the heart of the historic village of Eaton Socon which is located on the opposite side of the River Ouse from St. Neots (you could even arrive by boat !). The village is very close to the A1, A428 and the A421 and the St. Neots railway station is on the main line running from London (Kings Cross) to Edinburgh .

North Laurels is conveniently situated for a range of local shops and amenities and there are several nearby pubs providing wholesome food and entertainment as well as an Indian restaurant .  The Eaton Socon business park is just a short walk  and we are also close to the Ouse Valley riverside walk.  Local and regional buses stop very close by, providing regular and direct access to the nearby town of St Neots (with its busy shops, farmers market and railway station) as well as more distant destinations such as Cambridge and Bedford.

How to find us

From the North:

Just follow the A1 south-bound all the way past Nottingham and Peterborough until you see exit signs for St. Neots. Ignoring the first two St Neots exits, continue south on the A1 and exit at the junction with the A428, sign-posted to Cambridge. At the roundabout take the first exit onto the Great North Road (signposted to Eaton Socon) and continue north going straight past several mini roundabouts until you see a post office on your right. North Laurels is just beyond this on the same side and set back from the road (opposite Wilkinson close).

From the South:

Just follow the A1 north and take the A428 exit signposted to Cambridge. Follow the exit road (takes you back over the A1) and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the Great North Road (signposted to Eaton Socon) continuing north as above.

From the East:

From Cambridge or the A14, follow the A428 to St Neots. Ignore signs to St Neots towncentre and continue past the TESCO superstore until you reach the big roundabout giving access to the A1. At this roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the Great North Road (signposted to Eaton Socon) and continue north as above.

From the West:

Take the A14 (junct. 19 of the M6 where it joins the M1) east-bound and follow it all the way to the A1 near Huntingdon. Then continue south along the A1 and follow the directions given above "from the North".
